New Apple TV to feature $.99 TV downloads?

There were news about Apple may have convinced some of the TV networks for the price reduction from 1.99 to 0.99$ per episode of TV shows on the iPad.Most probables included the Disney’s ABC, Hulu etc. NewTeeVee today is bringing back the $0.99 TV show rumor with the Cloud twist.According to Ryan Lawler, the new $99 AppleTV that runs the iOS will feature the ability to buy and stream TV shows for $.99 each.To be talking about the competition in the Cloud streaming field, Roku (HD player is $99 today only+$10 credit) sells a box that streams Netflix and Amazon TV and movies. Those TV shows are mostly the same price as those currently selling on iTunes. If iTunes drops prices on their shows, Netflix and Amazon would likely follow.

Download Apple iTunes 9.1.1 version

Apple recently released the latest release of iTunes and updated to version 9.1.1,As of know i didn’t find any major update in the new version.This seems to fix some bugs and improve performance.The size of the updates comes to 93Mb and requires Windows XP SP2, Windows Vista (32-bit or 64-bit), Windows 7 (32-bit or 64-bit), Mac OS X 10.4.11 or later. Some of its list of the improvements, features, and fixes included in iTunes 9.1.1 are listed below.

iTunes 9.1.1 comes with number of important bug fixes,which includes

Addressing several stability and usability issues with VoiceOver and Genius Mixes
Addressing issues with converting songs to 128 kbps AAC while syncing

Ability to Sync with iPad to enjoy your favorite music, movies, TV shows, books and more on the go.
Organize and sync books downloaded from iBooks on iPad or the ones added to your iTunes library.

Download iTunes 9.1 for Windows and Mac

Apple finally has announced the general availability of iTunes 9.1 for both Windows and Mac. The new version of iTunes brings support for the upcoming iPad on iPhone 3.2, a new “Books” section which replaces the existing “Audiobooks” section in the iTunes Store and more improvements to Genius Mixes feature.You would actually need to go to Apple.com/itunes site to download it as some say they were not able to get a update notification.

iTunes 9.1 comes with several new features and improvements, including:

• Sync with iPad to enjoy your favorite music, movies, TV shows, books and more on the go

• Organize and sync books you’ve downloaded from iBooks on iPad or added to your iTunes library

• Rename, rearrange, or remove Genius Mixes

The new update doesn’t do anything like radically change the iTunes interface. Instead, it is focused on providing support for the iPad, which launches this Saturday. The big addition in this software update is iPad syncing. Thus if and when you plug that glorious iPad of yours into your computer this Saturday, it’ll sync your computer’s music, movies, books, and other media with your tablet device.

Support for iBooks has been included in this software update, providing you the ability to sync books you’ve bought between your iPad and your computer. Finally, there have been some changes to the Genius feature — now you can rename, rearrange, and remove mixes you create via the Genius feature.
