Opera users can rejoice as Opera team have released a Beta version of Opera 10.60.The main reason behind the Beta release is to concentrate on the performance analysis and core updates.This summer, Opera will release version 10.60 for Windows, Mac and Linux. Feel free to test the upcoming version now and contribute to improving Opera.

Some of the features of  Opera 10.60 Beta are

  • Faster Browsing: Thanks to fine tuning to the Javascript engine giving more than a 75% speed improvement in some benchmark tests.

  • Smarter searching: New search suggestions for selected providers help you enter queries more easily to find more of the results you seek.
  • Location awareness: Opera can now prompt you to share your location, allowing websites to provide more relevant and useful information.
  • Attractive feature icons: Tab previews and visual tabs now show specific icons for Opera features such as bookmarks, the download manager and history.

Download Blackra1n RC3 to jailbreak and unlock iPhone 3G/3GS with 3.1.2 firmware

Recently i had posted about Blacksn0w a tool which would be the only alternative to unlock iPhone OS with 3.1.2 firmware with base band 05.11.07 unless you have a custom ipw firmware which would enable to unlock.Geohot has successfully confirmed its working with iPhone OS 3.1.2.

Blacksn0w will be  made available via Blackra1n RC3, In order to unlock iPhone 3G/3GS 3.1.2 you would first need to upgrade to firmware 3.1.2 and then download Blackra1n for windows/mac and click on make it ra1n. once your iPhone reboots you will see “blackra1n” app click on it You will see “sn0w”. Install this, and enjoy your unlocked iPhone.

What you need:

Important Note : For those who have already installed blackra1n RC1 or RC2 should directly run the the Blackra1n.app and click on “ra1n” (ra1n replaces “Icy”).  This will automatically upgrade blackra1n to RC3. Now simply follow Step 3.

Step 1: Open iTunes, connect iPhone and Update/restore to the original iPhone firmware 3.1.2.

Step 2 : You will now have to jailbreak your iPhone running on iPhone 3.1.2 firmware with blackra1n RC3. This procedure is same as earlier, and you can follow the guide: Jailbreak iPhone 3.1.2 Firmware using BlackRa1n.

Step 3: [When jailbreak completes] Open the blackra1n.app and you should now see “sn0w”.

Step 4: Touch on “sn0w” to install blacksn0w. Blacksn0w is now also available on Cydia: add http://blackra1n.com/ to cydia Sources.Cydia will now automatically update your sources by following a series of automated steps.

Step 5: After installation is completed. Search for “blacksn0w” in Cydia and install blacksn0w.Now simply restart your iPhone.This will Unlock your iPhone 3G, 3GS running 3.1.2 firmware on 05.11.07 baseband.
