And this success of Windows 7 isn’t just helping the Software Giant but also having a massive amount of impact in some of the leading hardware brands in the market.Be it INTEL or AMD.Intel marked a 34% growth in their sells for the second quarter while AMD marked a humongous growth of 40% all because of the ever growing market of the Netbook/Notebooks.

And we are just entered into the second year of Windows 7 with the Service Pack 1 final slated to release in upcoming months i won’t be surprised if the license sell crosses the 200 million mark in no time.

With the launch of SP1 Betas for the Windows 7 and 2008 Server versions ,we also saw the end of the SP2 for Windows XP.It’s been a span of almost 2 years since the launch of Windows XP SP3,so finally the official word from the company came about the discontinuation of the support for the Service Pack to from today that is 13th July 2010.So if anybody out there still using the Older version of XP must upgrade to at least Service Pack 3 or the later versions of Windows Operating Systems.

Though it doesn’t mean that it’s the end of the road for Windows XP , not until the year 2014 thanks to their extended support policy of 5 years ,so its a good news for the current SP3 Users, but those people who still are using the SP2 version, its most recommended that they should opt for an upgrade to a higher version As soon as Possible.

One of the prominent things that differ from higher versions like Ultimate to lower end Basic is the presence of Aero effects. This Aero is one class feature which makes your desktop look supercool something similiar to Linux. But to enjoy this you need to pay a price. Not all versions come with this Aero effects. This leads to users going to the illegal way of getting Operating systems from unverified sources. So if you are not intending of upgrading to better versions then here is one app Aero Enabler which enables aero effects in basic version of Windows Vista and Windows 7.

Aero Enabler comes free and main requirement is you would need to have .Net Framework 3.5 or higher installed. What this app does is gives you the effects you want without undergoing the internal hardware check which checks if your hardware requirements are met or not.Go download the app from the link below and run Enable Aero to enjoy Aero effects.Hope you will like it.Get back with problems and comments you feel.

Windows 7 is a awesome OS i say but do you know that Windows 8 development has already started and also Windows 7 Sp1 is in works.Deviant Art is a good source for all custom extra plugins and wallpapers. One Deviant Art user “mufflerexoz” has created a Windows 8 theme for Windows 7.

Windows 8 provides lots of new features along with a newly designed interface. It looks very similar to Windows Vista and Windows 7(Great combination) but there are many GUI changes like redesigned taskbar, Explorer, new boot screen and login screen, etc.Check out the link below and download the themes,Logon screen,Wallpapers,System Tray icon, Tclock Lite & Watermark,Viglance.
