comScore:Windows Phone Market Share Stagnant,as iOS Grows,Android Falls in the US for Last Quarter

As per the recent findings from comScore the overall Mobile OS Market Share in the United states for the last quarter has been good for iOS.

While the Apple iOS has seen a growth of 3.5% for the period,reaching 37.8% of United States Mobile OS Market share,the Android market share dropped considerably during the last 3 months period in the country,it was 53.3% in October 2012 which dropped to 52.3% in January 2013 with a point change of 1.3%.Blackberry might have released their new OS and flagship phone earlier this year,but their market share was also down by 1.9%,counting around 5.9% of US Mobile Market-share  Windows Phone on the other hand saw a small drop of 0.1% from October,with the January market share standing at 3.1%.

Apple also dominated in the smartphone OEM Market Share with 37.8% while its arch rival Samsung stands second at around 21.4% of US Mobile Devices both showing a gain of  3.5% and 1.9% respectively over the last quarter.While HTC and Motorola faced a drop of 1.7% and 1.4% respectively,with LG gaining 0.3% (mostly due to nexus 4) during the quarter.
