With Google introducing its 7 inch tablet Nexus 7, people have been comparing Nexus 7 with Amazon’s Kindle Fire. We have also seen rumors kicking of with Apple coming up with a 7 inch mini version of the iPad.I felt this might not be true as Steve Jobs never wanted a smaller version of iPad.New York Times is reporting that Apple is working on a smaller version of its iPad tablet, cheaper than the current model.
The new, smaller iPad will have a 7.85-inch screen diagonal and will cost “significantly less” than the “regular” iPad, which starts at $499.
We also hear that Amazon is working on a bigger version of the 7-inch Kindle Fire in order to compete with the iPad, claims a developer briefed on Amazon’s plans.
