Samsung Hercules confirmed T-Mobile Galaxy S II variant

Reports is that Samsung Hercules a handset rumored to possess godly specs has been confirmed to be a T-mobile Galaxy S II variant T-Mobile’s first HSPA+ 42Mbps device.TMOnews got pics and what we consider to be pretty concrete evidence that this is in fact a Galaxy S 2 model since it says Galaxy S 2 on the backplate of the phone.

Unfortunately none of these images shows off a lot about the phone including the Touchwiz Interface that is undoubtedly running over Android which we are so eager to see. They shared three pics along with a leaked shot that comes courtesy of Pocket Now which shows the front of the Hercules which matches up quite nicely with our shot of the front side from TMOnews.Hercules should also be heading north to Canada to join Telus’ lineup, like the Vibrant and Galaxy S 4G did before it.

It might be a super friggin fast device.Netflix is preinstalled thankfully TMOnews said it works like a charm. The messaging, email and calendar app are amazing and much better than the stock Google offerings. It’s similar to the original superphone in many respects, but it has a slightly larger 4.5-inch Super AMOLED Plus screen like the Infuse 4G, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor that’s possibly a Qualcomm instead of Sammy’s own Exynos, and a 42Mbps HSPA+ radio. The rounded corners of the back cover also look distinctly similar to the Within — the GSII variant coming to Sprint. The only thing missing is any mention of NFC, which featured in the initial rumors, but this is still a hotch-potch of the best Samsung phones around and we can’t wait for it to arrive.
