When the new Facebook chat style was launched every one’s chat dialog style changed and it showed something like the picture below and it was irritating for me to find my friends to chat. I normally set my settings to show only the online friends and that let me know who are all are online but with the new chat system I was not able to find all the online friends. You might also face a situation like mine and want to shift to the old Facebook chat style.There is a quick fix for the same.I was checking my facebook groups and a group member posted a link to go into the old chat style which shows all the online users as before.
Just head to https://www.facebook.com/presence/popout.php
On the left hand side you can see the list of friends online and you can chat with any one without the pain.Hope it helps
