Bye Bye Windows XP SP2

With the launch of  SP1 Betas for the Windows 7 and 2008 Server versions ,we also saw the end of the SP2 for Windows XP.It’s been a span of  almost 2 years since the launch of Windows XP SP3,so finally the official word from the company came about the discontinuation of the support for the Service Pack to from today that is 13th July 2010.So if  anybody out there still using the Older version of XP must upgrade to at least Service Pack 3 or the later versions of  Windows Operating Systems.

Though it doesn’t mean that it’s the end of the road for Windows XP , not until the year 2014 thanks to  their extended support policy of 5 years ,so its a good news for the current SP3 Users, but those people who still are using the SP2 version, its most recommended that they should opt for an upgrade to a higher version As soon as Possible.
