Dell Inspiron M301z goes AMD way with Athlon II Neo K325

Dell starts to go off the AMD way from its usual Intel based ones. This is the first time Dell has moved the AMD platform way.Dell Inspiron M301z is a 13.3 inch laptop powered by AMD mobile processor Athlon II Neo K325 with ATI Mobility Radeon integrated graphics improving its performance and battery life.The display comes with a High definition glossy WLED  and laptop weighs only 1.5 kgs and 1 inch thin so it’s damn portable.Inspiron M301z features optional AMD Athlon Dual Core II Neo K325 or AMD Turion II Neo K625 processor and supports upto 8 GB of memory.

The choice of OS is left to the consumer but default comes with Windows 7 Home Premium or Home Basic 64 bit. The users have the ability to select hard disk 250GB to 640 GB 7200 RPM.Other features include a 1.3 magepixel webcam, SRS Premium Sound, 6-cell battery, Bluetooth, 802.11 wireless, card reader etc.The starting price of the laptop is $999 and the top end version comes with a price tag of $1999. So AMD fanboys are you buying  it  ?
