Roadies 7 Bangalore Audition

I guess you fellas are thinking where is this author, it’s been two days and no sign of some tech news from him.The reason was,i had gone to Bangalore for MTV Roadies 7 Auditions.Let me tell you how it went by.So on 5th this monday i got a call from the MTV saying that i am selected for the auditions.I was like happy too and extremely excited on going for the Auditions.So i left early from office and booked the bus tickets from Mangalore to Bangalore.With not much difficulty i got the bus tickets to Bangalore timed at 10 in the night.I left my room at 9.15 and parked my bike and went near the bus stop, suddenly i remembered that i had forgotten my Kawasaki sports jacket.Damn !

I started my bike to head to room but stupid it wasn’t starting i called my friend too he said he wasn’t at the room.So i thought bad luck is coming my way.Great ! So chuck it and i entered bus.I reached bangalore in early wee hours at 7.10 or so then searched for a hotel to get freshned up and then settled for a hotel name RAJ.I watched some TV and then freshned up and left the room at 9.45, boarded a Rick and he is like it will take 80 bucks to reach St.John’s Auditorium where the auditions were to be held.Reached at 10.25 and i see so many of them standing in the queue for the gates to be opened at 11.Time passed by and i had to wait till 1 or so and then the line started moving and entry was given in.I would say bad planning and time management.Sheesh !

I made so many friends out there, and i was chatting and freaking with them waiting when will the auditions start.There would be 2 rounds viz. Group discussion and if you clear the first you will have to face the judges Bumpy aka Nature Baba.GD didnt start and time was just passing by and in between sponsors prizes were given to seated below in auditorium.You would need to come to stage and perform something what the anchor says or the competition is.Prizes varied from Double Mint chewing gums, Fiama de Wills stuff and accessories from MTV some of them included Hunters, Belts, wrist bands,Tshirts,Jackets, Gunny bags etc. i won few of them just didn’t manage to get the Jacket.My luck.

The Auditions finally started at 5.15 and the roll numbers were called in splits of 10.I must say the chicks were damn hot and sexy.Check out my next post soon on the babes.Bani J was doing some time pass anchoring on the stage.My roll was 1152 and in a group of 12 of them were sent to GD room.I faced Nature baba for the first time.Dempy was also present with Nature baba.I  was supercool not at all nervous.He gave some 6 topics and it lasted for around 30mins.I answered all most all of the questions.I was damn confident that i will get selected.Questions were mainly on topics concerned with *** and Cricket and a little bit of Bollywood funda.After the GD was over Bumpy told us to wait for an hour or so until the results were to be announced.I was expecting my name to be out on the list.Time passed by and no sign of results to be declared.

I decided to go for dinner until the 12 of them  would be shortlisted for the last round.When i came back from dinner i was shocked that my name wasnt there on the list.I say WTF i did so good and my name is not there in the list.Common there has to be some criteria for it .If i don’t answer ok i would accept it but for heaven’s sake i smacked the GD and Bumpy knows it too.I got furious and asked the judges seated in the audi where the rest of the shortlisted 12 were seated so as to why i was not shortlisted and blah blah.They told some crap and pissed me off.I just came out of the place and headed to my hotel.Morning i woke up and did a check out at the hotel boarded the Volvo and reached Mangalore at 9.30 in the night.Sheesh what fun i had there.I missed a chance of being a part of a roadies.Common i deserved to be there.Why the hell couldn’t they give a chance atleast.One more incident made me sad too.More info on that posting soon.Stay tuned and pour your comments.Attaching below some of the stuff i got.Anyways i am going next year too.
