As i am active in WinVistaClub forums i was reading there when i found out this news.One of the MVP named Steve Sinchak of Tweaks.com has created a small free utility to change the Windows 7 logon screen background.This can be accomplished in few clicks.This also gives a option to preview the logon screen or to apply it.
Once selected just clcik on Test to apply the image. If you are not satisfied with the current one you can always revert back to the default one.The app will prompt for the location of the new background image and then installs the new screen for the logon.
