Nvidia released new batch of beta drivers for GeForce graphics processors especially for Notebooks.These drivers deliver sharp, crystal-clear, on-the-go graphics with lightning fast performance for games, videos, and images, all while maintaining manufacturer customizations, including hotkeys.NVIDIA notebook drivers now bring NVIDIA CUDA technology to notebooks for the first time, including NVIDIA PhysX technology for the latest games.
The new drivers are numbered 179.48, and they’re available for Windows Vista and Windows XP in 32-bit and 64-bit flavors.You can download the respective drivers for Xp and Vista platforms from here with different links for GeForce and mobile Quadro NVS GPUs.
The new drivers are now compatible with the Geforce 7 series which missed the Hybrid SLI.Hybrid SLI lets notebooks to switch between integrated and discrete graphics so that they can save power.At present GeForce 9M GPUs work with this technology.Nvidia has apparently added support for GeForce 9400M integrated graphics chipsets.Nvidia says that this doesn’t work with Dell Vostro,Lenovo ThinkPad, and Sony VAIO notebooks.
