BoyGenuiusreport found some info on the next version of iPhone firmware 3.1.3 obtained from server logs which suggests that Apple are testing the upcoming releases 3.1.3 and 4.0.I believe the 3.1.3 version would be a update/fix to some of the bugs in the previous release of the firmware 3.1.2.The iPhone 4.0 4G would be released some where in 2010.In case you find the latest 3.1.3 firmware i do not recommend updating it as it is.The server logs cannot be completely believed to be genuine.Similar set of logs were found confirming about Google’s phone Nexus One.So until Apple confirms this update to be valid and genuine don’t go to update your firmware’s.

I want true background processing on the iPhone and not limited to only a certain number, the iPhone 3gs I have was jailbroken and I had downloaded backgrounder and had a heavy duty game running, plus the iheartradioapp, including q movie downloading app, and the app to zero out unpartioned unused space on the harddrive at the same time and the phone did not lag a bit, not the apps, nothing, I also want a wall paprika on the homescreen, or at least be able to change the color of it so it’s not always black, I mean I like that color but damn, and also a key vib on the keyboards so we get some tacticle feedback, apple should look into the following jailbroken apps: backgrounder, sbsettings and winterboard but a watered down version, once apple implements thhose systems than apple will have the best phone on the market and will just need new hardware eery year
The phone (at least software) should be announced this 27th. It should be a great conference.
